International Sales Representative

NHS, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a track record of proven sales success. The International Sales Representative is a key member of the NHS sales team and is responsible for strategic planning, customer relations, and revenue generation from existing and new sales opportunities with a focus on global distribution outside of the US. We will consider remote candidates for this position.

Core responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to

  • Develop and execute a cohesive, proactive international sales strategy with assigned regions, while pursuing the company’s departmental and financial goals and objectives. Develop account base and relationships through frequent customer communication via e-mail, phone, Zoom and periodic visits.
  • Process all incoming orders; backorders, prebook, and factory direct shipments as well as any credits and warranties. Review for order minimums and coordinate drop-ship logistics with NHS Purchasing and Shipping Departments.
  • Responsible for updating all contacts in database and distribution of sales and marketing tools (ie: order forms, catalogs, samples, sales programs, etc). Collaborate with sales team to successfully plan all aspects of hardgoods dropships, including launch materials, order forms, goal reports and email templates.
  • Ensure sales growth across all categories and brands by use of Business Intelligence (BI) and other measures of sales monitoring. Execute distributor brand/category forecasts and agreements in your regions while holding distributors accountable to these forecasts and growth across all brands. Identify and capitalize on opportunities in current and future international sales and distribution channels
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities for new distribution in untapped markets and make suggestions for necessary distributor adjustments in existing markets. Facilitate the transition when necessary.
  • Increase participation in preordering for all distributors through existing sales programs. Make suggestions for additional sales programs and facilitate SMU requests when necessary.
  • Monitor NHS sales and marketing programs executed by international accounts. Work closely with distributors to effectively utilize NHS marketing materials and assets. Evaluate and develop marketing plans to ensure growth and profitability in international regions.
  • Attend and prepare detailed sales info, brand position and performance updates at regularly scheduled Sales Meetings.
  • This position reports directly to the Sales Director and works closely with the Global Licensing Manager, another International Sales Representative, Logistics Manager, Vice President of Product, and the President/Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Initiate distributor visits and market tours to meet with existing customers and identify new opportunities. Travel to key territories to evaluate brand performance and collect market share information. Maximize ROI at Sales Meetings and relative tradeshows

Skills & Background Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum five-years related sales experience; international industry sales experience preferred
  • Sales and distribution channel management, development and analysis experience
  • Ability to travel internationally two or more times per year
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, detailed and task oriented; ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills in a global setting
  • Proven track record of strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as with other team members, clear and positive communicator.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel programs
  • Will consider off-site position for someone who has proven experience working remote and Industry/International Sales experience.
