Please note this is a Full-Time, Hybrid position at our Santa Cruz, CA. headquarters, but we are open to remote possibilities for the right candidate.

Primary Purpose: 

Lead the strategy and execution for multiple brands, building brand equity, driving demand, and increasing market share. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans, managing product life cycles, overseeing team relationships, and delivering measurable outcomes across sales, visibility, and engagement. A key focus will be on leveraging owned and paid video content to amplify reach, showcase talent, and connect with core and emerging audiences. Reporting to the CMO, this position partners cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Creative, Finance, and Marketing teams. 

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 

Responsible for leading and executing the brand strategy and marketing initiatives for specific brand, with a focus on driving global growth and cultural relevance. Including: 

  • Developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns that drive demand and align with business goals. 
  • Leading seasonal go-to-market planning across marketing, product, and sales teams. 
  • Managing and optimizing the brand’s P&L, forecasting performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement. 
  • Collaborating with product teams to guide seasonal line plans informed by market insights and rider feedback. 
  • Driving digital, social, and grassroots community engagement to grow brand awareness and equity. 
  • Managing the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize ROI and campaign impact. 
  • Mentoring and managing the Team Manager and supporting team rider programs aligned with brand strategy. 
  • Presenting brand strategy, performance, and key initiatives to the Executive Team and internal stakeholders.

In a fast-paced environment, you're the calm leader who keeps everyone focused, energized, and aligned. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or related fields. 
  • 5+ years of experience managing a brand in youth culture, action sports, or lifestyle categories. 
  • Proven success driving both brand visibility and commercial outcomes. 

Tools & Technical Fluency 

  • Project Management: Asana, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Teams 
  • Analytics & Reporting: Power BI, Excel (advanced), Google Analytics, Meta Insights, YouTube Studio 
  • Content & AI Tools: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Canva, Adobe Suite 
  • Communication & Docs: Outlook, Word, OneNote, Loop, PowerPoint, Google Workspace 
  • Digital & Social: Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and related content and ad platforms 

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
