Please note this is a Full-Time, Hybrid position at our Santa Cruz, CA. headquarters, but we are open to remote possibilities for the right candidate.
Position Summary:
Lead and grow the Santa Cruz Skateboards brand globally by delivering measurable business results, including sales, profit contribution, market share, and brand equity. The Brand Manager will develop and execute a strategic brand roadmap that aligns with NHS’s vision and mission, capitalizes on market momentum, and consistently creates demand at the consumer and retail levels. The most valuable input guiding product and marketing decisions will be derived from authentic engagement with end-users, including skaters, fans, and core community voices. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and proven ability to convert marketing and product investments into brand and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Responsible for leading and executing the brand strategy and marketing initiatives for Santa Cruz Skateboards, with a focus on driving global growth and cultural relevance. Including:
- Developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns that drive demand and align with business goals.
- Leading seasonal go-to-market planning across marketing, product, and sales teams.
- Managing and optimizing the brand’s P&L, forecasting performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with product teams to guide seasonal line plans informed by market insights and rider feedback.
- Driving digital, social, and grassroots community engagement to grow brand awareness and equity.
- Managing the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize ROI and campaign impact.
- Mentoring and managing the Team Manager and supporting team rider programs aligned with brand strategy.
- Presenting brand strategy, performance, and key initiatives to the Executive Team and internal stakeholders.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in brand management, marketing leadership, or product-driven consumer brand role preferably in action sports, youth culture, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong grasp of budget management, marketing analytics, and campaign ROI.
- Proficiency in tools such as Asana, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Excel, Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Canva.
- Experience with social platforms, DTC marketing, and e-commerce metrics a plus.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00
